And they broke the restrike feature!!! Freakin A!! It seemed perfect before. I live in oregon.

This gun was illegal only months ago. My fear is they will keep it if it becomes illegal again.They said they wont ship illegal guns. And hi cap clips. They wanted me to ship all clips?

No way. Not gonna risk losing them. They were alot of quiet as I asked ?s about the poss fate of my gun. And my hi cap clips.

I have never been able to fire this. Since the day I bought it 3 months ago. Nor has it been in my possession for more than the same day after repairs. I like the gun though.

call them after they get it and make them read the description of repairs. They return ship with no warning. My gun just show up. I like their guns.

But will buy taurus used from now on due to poor machining and poor repair staff. this is the 3d time.

Its either fixed. Of gone after the 3rd strike.

Taurus DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. I have a .44 Ultralite with serious pitting around the firing pin and they claim it is normal wear. I have 8 other revolvers that are older with way more rounds through them with zero pitting. They refuse to repair as needed.

Taurus firearms are Ok. Maybe a good gun to have camping or a truck gun.

If it got lost or stolen, no big deal or loss. My issue with Taurus is their customer service and warranty. Sent in my G2s .40 because my mags kept falling out of the gun. You could literally pull the mag out without pressing the mag release.

Sent the gun in for repair. They sent me an email saying the issue was that I had the wrong mags. I emailed them back and told them thats the mags that came with the gun. And Ive shot several rounds out of it with those same mags that you sent/boxed with the gun.

Two days later I get another email saying my issue was Customer inflicted not covered by warranty. So I called them. I got a guy on the phone whos first language was not English. Nor was it his second or third.

He said they found a slight very small burr on the slide toward the back from obviously being dropped. I never dropped that gun, never. So I told him, ok even if I did drop the gun thats got Nothing to do with the mags or mag spring release. He said, yea but the gun was dropped and that voids the warranty.

BUTthey could put a new Used slide on for $85.00. It wont be the shimmering/stainless/aluminum finish I have now, but the blued version. I told them to return my firearm and go screw someone else. They said we will have to return it with an Unsafe Letter.

Meaning it was not safe to fire. I told them just send me my firearm. Once I got the firearm back, I took it to a gunsmith. He found no burr.

Replaced the mag release spring. Gun works fine again. Took it and my 4 other Taurus handguns and sold/traded them for a S&W and a Glock .40 cal.

And I will tell Anyone considering a Taurus to spend the extra few bucks and get something else. Spend the extra few dollars and get a better firearm with a better warranty service dept.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. In July, 2023 I sent a two page letter to Taurus CEO and Taurus Customer Service about my dissatisfaction with having my 856 returned to me from warranty service with nothing having been done to it by Taurus gunsmiths.

Two weeks later I received a phone call from Taurus Customer Service informing me that they will authorize a replacement of my defective revolver. After waiting a month and paying another FFL fee, I now have a functioning revolver.

I purchased a Taurus 856 to be my EDC. But from the first time I took it to the range it had intermittent failure to fire issues.

They are random, intermittent, sporadic, irregular! About 5 shots out of 100, the cylinder fails to lock up resulting in a light, off center primer strike (or missing the primer entirely). I've sent the gun to Taurus TWICE. Both times the return paperwork indicated that their gunsmith fired 12 rounds through it, recorded NPF (No Problem Found), and returned it to me without even looking at the gun's internals.

After it was returned to me UNFIXED the second time I contacted Taurus customer service again and they suggested that I make a video of myself shooting the 856 while it malfunctions. Someday I might be in a position to do that, but until then, I was forced to purchase a different brand of firearm as my EDC. I am confident that if it ever malfunctions, it will be fixed.
I don't think Taurus makes a bad gun. I have been perfectly happy with my G3 and TX22.

But I am totally unimpressed with Taurus warranty service and their complete lack of interest in customer satisfaction.

You would think that someone from Taurus would reach out to me about fixing or replacing my 856 since I continually post reviews about its failure to fire problem and the failure of Taurus gunsmiths to fix the problem. But I guess the bigwigs at Taurus care more about volume sales than customer satisfaction.

User's recommendation: Taurus makes a fairly decent gun for the money, but if you happen to get a lemon, you are stuck with an expensive paperweight. Their customer service phone reps are great. Their gunsmiths - not so much. I will not give any more of my hard earned money on Taurus firearms until this issue is resolved.

Used to love taurus. Not anymore.

Incompetent customer service. I was sold a handgun as new but had wear marks allover as if it had been used and fired. Slide and feeding malfunctions. Difficult to strip and reassemble, as if it had been improperly used before.

Its spent more time out of my hands for repair than in my home. I was told it was probably the ammo being used. All that should matter is the caliber being right, otherwise the brand or type shouldn't be an issue. I should be able to shoot any 9mm ammo.

Hollowpoint or full metal jacket.

The G3 doesn't seem to like any ammo period. Its better served as a paper weight.

Where to start? First of all, horrible customer service.

You are lucky I have to put 1 star. I havent even loaded bullets into my GX4 and it broke while dry firing Talking about bad quality, worst metals in the industry. Now I understand why my friends make fun of me for buying your horrible weapons from Taurus. Super disappointed.

DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS.

The best part is nobody responds to the claims the force you to enter on their miserable website. Is it ran by 1 person? I mean they suck so much its scary to know those weapons are the most unreliable in the market. If anyone cares from Taurus USA please contact me ASAP.

Its been 2 months since i enter the claim yet nothing. I mean NOTHING from you yet. F is your grade.

Spring set for Tarus 941 ER79586

I bought a new Taurus 941 22magnum and the trigger and the hammer springs as so tight I cannot pull the hammer back or even pull the trigger. I am 6ft tall and weigh 195. I did not pay good money for a gun I cannot USS. I need a new spring set or a gun that I can use. This 941 is a poor example of the bad quality of your products.I like the size and calibers but the design is very poor. I would appreciate any help you could give me. No one will answer the phone. Please help.

Upon purchase of the g2c i immediately took it home and shot it. Well tried.

Every few rounds in both mags the gun would fail to feed and jam causing the magazine to drop out of the gun. Sent into customer service the very next day. No problems. If I had to choose good vs bad experience.

I would say good. But honestly it wasnt that great given the fact that the very first magazine i shot after recieving it from repair it spit out the magazine. I was pretty furious but weirdly enough shot about 8 magazines worth of ammo afterwards and not a single malfunction. Also the gun had a little rust building up on the front left side of the slide.

I cleaned it up and removed it but was disappointed to see that. Other than that though the gun works as now and it was fun to shoot. Got it back relatively fast.

No extra charges as their shouldnt be. 6.5/10 for me and my experience.
